1. Chevron Pacific Indonesia

Chevron started its oil business in Indonesia about 80 years ago ie in 1924 under the name Standard Oil Co. of California (SOCAL) doing geological expedition in Sumatra.
in 1936 Standard Oil joined NV Nederlandsche Pacific Petroleum which later became Chevron Pacific Indonesia, a joint venture between The Texas Co.. (Texaco) and Socal.

2. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (Medco)

3. Petrochina

Petrochina Exploration is the first oil field in Jabung, Jambi province, Irian Jaya, and East Java. The three oil wells produce 63,000 barrels per day. Petrochina awarded a contract for 20 years to supply gas from Indonesia to Singapore in 2001.

4. Amerada Hess

Hess is an oil and gas companies from the United States that operate in the United States, Britain, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Equatorial Guinea, Algeria, Libya, Gabon, Egypt, Ghana, and an array of joint development area in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Thailand , Azerbaijan, Australia, Brazil and St.. Lucia.
In Indonesia, Hess operating in Ujung Pangkah Field which produces gas. Regional operations are in Pangkah Hess (Hess 75%), Jambi Merang (Hess 25%), and the Natuna D (Hess 23%).. 5. Santos
